Ran across this - a German track cyclist who’s nickname is ‘Quadzilla’. He regularly squats 280kg (617lbs) and can sustain 70kmh (~44mph) on a bike. He’s old now (39) but in peak shape his thighs measured 34”, bigger than my waist.

Sadly my first thought is that is AI with the odd text font.

But man, if he gets a leg cramp it's going to be screaming agony.

Doesn't seem like "breaking news" in any case.

I seem to recall that he had some genetic condition which contributed to his leg size.

There's a world class arm wrestler who has a genetic condition where he has extra muscles in his arms. Not just bigger, but more tendon insertions in the bone. I think he has more fingers than normal too.

There’s definitely more individual muscles visible on his leg than the rest of ours.

Wonder if his leg/thigh muscles are strong enough to break his bones if he were to get a leg cramp.

Doubt it. If his muscles are that developed his bones are strong too.
