We gave every nutcase a global soapbox, now there's a whole network of nutters.

I think I like Rufo’s perspective more. This is good:

      Education is extremely important.

Don't seem important. Assuming you have something else to do, just move on.

Rufo and Yarvin have been important contributors to the intellectual underpinnings of the modern GOP. I know, I know, that's a ridiculous contradiction in terms, lollolol

            Education is extremely important.

I’ll admit that in my darker moments, I can see the appeal of Yarvin’s accountable monarchy, but not seriously. The guy is a racist asshole and Rufo should wipe the floor with him.

Yarvin was an obscure alt-right blogger maybe 20 years ago who stopped writing around 15 years ago, but maintained a following. Some new right Silicon Valley folks started paying attention to him a couple years ago which ended up including Vance. So now he’s writing again and has a much larger audience. He was mentioned once or twice on old TNCR. He considers himself a ‘Jacobite’ and believes in something like absolute monarchy.

Rufo is the thinking man’s Jack Prosobiec. An online culture warrior but more intelligent and refined. He has a position at the Manhattan Institute. I think he cut his teeth on CRT and DEI as his major issues but is broader now.

If you don't take it, it can only good happen.

Sorry, I've never heard of him either.

                    I was only joking

I think I'm going to stick with watching music gear, formula 1 and chess streams and try to avoid all these chaps. Probably better for my mental health, which needs all the help it can get...
