    Can't believe he was 89 years old, too.

    I think I posted here that I re-watched The Natural a few months ago, I have to say it's probably the most beautifully filmed movie I've ever come across. The cinematography is an absolute masterclass.

      My favorite move of his is almost unknown. Havana. From 1989. Backdrop is the Cuban revolution.

      It’s not marketed this way, but it sort of depicts the backstory between Humphrey Bogart and Lauren Becall in Casablanca, but with different names in a different setting. A prequel, before that was a thing.

        I have seen the movie "the Sting". That was a fun movie all the way through to the end.

          There’s a story that has long floated around Hollywood.

          Early in his career a director wanted him to do a scene in which his character was rejected by a girl he was interested in. Redford had have it explained to him what that was like.
