Scenes of Germany (Mostly)

Back from Europe. Mainly Germany. Fantastic architecture, especially the churches. Amazing how they were built 5, 6, 7 hundred years ago. The Catholic Church really did want to shock and awe the common people.
"Typical" German old small city. Great fun to wander around
Booked a public bike tour. I was the only customer, so a "private" tour. LOL. Me and my tour guide.
Nuremberg
Nuremberg Nazi rally grounds. Also visited the International Court where they had the war crimes trials after World War 2.
Old German town
"Typical" German town church/cathedral. Simply amazing and the pictures do not show the absolute scale and design of these things.
I think my favorite picture that shows the typical scenery in the German town.
German town square. -
Old German Castle
Another old German Castle
Old German Town
Old German Cathedral. Again, if I were a peasant 500 years ago, I would certainly be overwhelmed. (I was overwhelmed as a 21 century lady!!)
for @mik (and other wine people). Wine making facility in the basement of an abbey.
Koln Cathedral. Just massive!! Did climb to the top of one of the towers. 500+ steps up a circular stone staircase!
Koln Cathedral at night.
WindmillsVery cool trip. Got to see a lot of UNESCO sites. German people were quite nice and friendly.
