    Just watched Moonlight. You may recall it dramatically one best picture after an incorrect announcement was made.

    The film is set in three acts, the acting is terrific throughout, but the first act for me was the best, the other two acts were a bit on stall mode… a decent movie that was made in a way that almost required it to be a best picture nominee, but not one I’ll watch again.

      @Horace not sure if it’s marketing but I’ve heard Paul Thomas Anderson’s latest movie, One Battle After Another, is really great. Apparently an extremely hectic first hour too

      My favorite movie reviewer really liked it. I'll see this one in the theater.

      Too bad Sean Penn is in it, and is the weakest part, according to her. Some actors can't contain their real life insufferability. Looking at you too, Jeff Goldblum.
