Why does it have to be so muddy and insufferable? Don’t just tell me because it has to stand up in court. There’s a document I had to read yesterday, probably 80 pages, an operating agreement. It took 80 pages to say what you could want it to say in 5 pages, with pure clarity and no ambiguity. In fact, after reading all 80 pages I had some very fundamental questions I had to ask the author about since it wasn’t clear after the word vomit document…who replied with 5 word answers. Wasn’t there a law passed where legal documents need simple and clear summaries? Maybe that’s just for loans.
