One of those things where, if someone had told you an anodyne fact that Chinese citizens are somewhere in the subcontractor chain of a huge DOD contract, you wouldn't even raise an eyebrow. But when someone says BREAKING NEWS FROM A PROPUBLICA INVESTIGATION: CHINESE CITIZENS GIVEN ACCESS TO TOP SECRET DEFENSE SOFTWARE, it's earth shattering. Words are fun, but some of us have outgrown them. It's nice on the other side, looking down on the idiotic masses and their cheap, physically unattractive rhetoric.
IT HAS BEEN WRITTEN, SO IT IS.

That is as it should be.
- "Chinese citizens are somewhere in the subcontractor chain of a huge DOD contract" is rather broad and vague; it may refer to the contractors providing, say, janitorial service or laundry service or food preparation service or transportation service transporting unclassified, non-essential goods for the DOD.
- "CHINESE CITIZENS GIVEN ACCESS TO TOP SECRET DEFENSE SOFTWARE" is quite a bit more specific about foreigners being GIVEN ACCESS TO TOP SECRET DEFENSE SOFTWARE. You really ought to be more concerned about this.

You really out to be more concerned about this.
If I'm not concerned enough about it, then it's on you to be more concerned about it. On a scale of 1 to 7.3, how concerned are you, and will you now pledge to average your score with mine, of 0, to bring our average to an acceptable level?

True story, yesterday I almost replied to this post asking why you could be so insensitive to have the rating scale max out at a 7.3, out of respect for earthquakes of that magnitude such as Vanuatu last year.
And this morning Alaska gets a 7.3 magnitude earthquake, tsunami warnings and all.

Sorry about that. Didn't know my own power.
But in the words of Louis CK, accidentally causing a huge catastrophe is a small price to pay for the realization that you have the power to cause huge catastrophes whenever you want. It's pretty awesome.
