The slow march of medical advancements is incredible. My FIL would've benefited from this (as many would), he had a kidney transplant at Mayo about 2 years ago, and of course he's happy it worked but the lifestyle adjustments he's had to make because of immunosuppressives is a minor PITA.

Interesting. Got me to lookup whether organ transplants between identical twins require immunosuppressants, and the answer is negative.
