The more I hate crowds.
Not that I ever liked crowds. But as a young dude in my 20s we'd go out to places (concerts, bars) that were shoulder-to-shoulder packed and think nothing of it.
Anyway, I'll spare the NSFW links but recently there was a hot air balloon in Brazil that was carrying 21 people that was struggling to get off the ground, then caught fire about 300 feet up, killing half the folks. Another boat in Congo was overcrowded with 78 people dying when it capsized because too many people rushed to the other side as it was tipping.
So, avoid crowds... but certainly avoid overcrowded vessels in countries lacking safety standards, too.

I don’t mind crowds as much as I mind the parking situations associated with crowds…
