      I do not like seeing obits for people born the same year I was. No stars. do not recommend.

          Reminds me of a joke a friend of mine told me when I turned 40.

          When someone in their 30s dies, people say ‘wow, what a tragedy’.

            Having read the obit article above, my impression is that he had and used the gift of gab effectively.

              I suspect he had some sharp elbows as well. It's a New York thing.

                Yes, interesting life. Did some good things, but did some bad things also. I am guess that he believed that most rules did not apply to him.
