Seems unnecessarily cruel to do that to existing students, as opposed to revoking it for new students. They have to transfer or leave midway through their education.

They’ll end up, after a lot of drama, with the same formula they use every time they have a trifecta: take away health care and food assistance from low income families and use the money to fund tax cuts for their donors.

I am reminded of Asimov's Foundation - "Violence is the last refuge of the incompetent".

        1. More lawsuits.
        2. Offshore campus. Still Harvard, just not in the USA.

          1, for sure.

2, hard to pull that off by August. Plus it would need to be in a location that agreed to give visas to all 6700 international students from all over the world.

They’ll end up, after a lot of drama, with the same formula they use every time they have a trifecta: take away health care and food assistance from low income families and use the money to fund tax cuts for their donors.

So Harvard has 160 Israeli students who now have to transfer or go home as punishment for Harvard’s antisemitism.

            Nice.

Bill Ackman on why Harvard’s financial position is worse than it seems.

Harvard filed suit today. 72 page suit and 59 page temporary restraining order. Clearly they saw this coming.

Princess Elisabeth, the 23-year-old future queen of Belgium, has just completed her first year at Harvard University but the ban imposed by U.S. President Donald Trump's administration on foreign students studying there could jeopardise her continued studies.

                    TRO granted.

Very good as the students didn’t even know what if any grace period they had to try to make alternative plans.

I wonder if Trump was rejected by Harvard back in the 60's and has held a grudge ever since.

It isn't the least likely explanation of what's going on.

                      I was only joking

Sharing a gift link to an excellent article by Steven Pinker on how to reform - and how not to reform - Harvard.

                          Never seen that happen before.
