    I'm confused.

Yes, more people are using AI. Yes Jony Ive is the legend behind many game-changing (Apple) products. But his hardware company (io) with like 50 employees, that builds hardware... have they actually built any products? What is OpenAI getting for $6 billion?

What would the product even be? Perhaps I don't have the imagination. Will it be glasses (barf), an earbud with a camera, a necklace, a watch? It's hard to imagine them introducing a product without a screen, but I suppose Blackberry also felt it was impossible to build a phone without a keyboard. Who knows...

Video starts out intriguing but it gets into a bit of a wordy circle jerk, I stopped listening about halfway through.

It's always been difficult for me to imagine that one designer of consumer electronics interfaces can consistently create extraordinary designs that distance his products from all competition.

It's easier to imagine that he introduced a design ethic at Apple which worked very well, and now the world has copied that, and the world does it well, and now, Jony Ive is mostly just a name.

      Education is extremely important.

It has been argued that Jony's designs are just rip offs of Dieter Rams minimalistic industrial product designs, too.

I wonder if any (or all) of that video is actually AI. Plot twist!
