For whatever reason, I couldn’t sleep very well at the hotel on Friday night. I had maybe 3 total hours of sleep and only 1 hour uninterrupted. So when I got up at 6 on Saturday, my immune system was weakened.

To make it worse, we had swam in the hotel pool Friday evening, and I had gotten chlorine in my eyes and nose, which also makes you more susceptible to any allergies. And to top it off, I got freaking soap in my nose, which yes, can exacerbate allergic reactions.

So, despite the wonderful day, my eyes were bloodshot, I was tearing up, and several severe sneezing fits had me congested. If it hadn’t been Luke’s graduation, I would have spent the day indoors, Benadryled up, and napping. I made it through the day, and even late into the night, but was miserable the whole day. Everybody just thought that I was overly emotional with the tears, sniffling, and bloodshot eyes…

Got to bed late, slept okay, but still had to get up early. Maybe 6 hours, but felt much better… Had breakfast, loaded up the Pilot, and we headed back. Road construction and traffic turned a 4 hour drive into a 7 hour trip… Now it’s caught up to me. I unloaded the Honda, ate dinner, and am calling it a night. At 7:30 in the freaking evening…

Bro that's been my life for the past 7 years. Luckily I am not a woman so it doesn't impact my immune system.

It was a heck of a night. I still can't even look at an eggplant without getting flashbacks. I don't know where you managed to put them all.

                  I was only joking
