Why in God’s name would you use a plane gifted to you by Muslims as AF1?

Come in, Mik, it’s not like they fund Hamas or anything.
Seriously though, besides the naked corruption of it all, it does seem to be a bit of a security risk.

Congressman Richie Torres:
Air Force One will have something in common with Hamas.
Paid for by Qatar.

The Statue of Liberty was the same thing.
The USA paid for the pedestal, in this case the taxpayers will buy the fuel, just like the statue.
Don't worry about it.

It’s a personal gift. It goes to his library for his personal use and that of his heirs in January 2029.

Mr. Reagan has Air Force One in his library, no problem.

Right, the one used through the younger Bush’s administration and retired by the air force then reassembled in Simi Valley after his death.
Kinda the same thing.

New levels of winning. Not only have we stopped giving foreign aid, we’re now the recipients.

Didn’t realize you had such a high opinion of Qatar and Hamas. Same thing as France.

Uhm, it’s better because it’s in the open? I mean, they always say it’s the coverup, not the crime, amirite?

That's right nobody could coverup a 747 and a golf course.
But, again, just like the Statue, David Copperfield might be able to.

I'm actually confused on how it will be used as Air Force One. Like... the actual AF1 is a massive military aircraft with endless classified bells and whistles for communications, air defense such as countermeasures, etc. Are they going to just attach all these things onto the wings of this Air Qatar?

I suspect the Air Force is just as confused as you are.

Yeah it'll never happen, IMO.
Air Force One has the ability to refuel midflight, all of its wirings are encased so that it can withstand an EMP attack, heck... there are multiple Air Force Ones that often fly together, one as a backup in case the primary plane has issues.

It’ll probably be used for non-presidential stuff until Trump leaves office then it will be his new Griftstream V.

Yup, I dont understand how anybody in their right mind thinks that this is a good idea.
