With Apple getting into the space with Fitness+, that is either really good for peloton or really bad.

I've browsed the Peleton website for several minutes and still have no idea what exactly they offer. I see people training while watching something. Is that the new "fitness VHS tape" thing?

Yeah except the VHS tape costs like $5,000 plus a subscription if you want to watch it more than once. Seriously though, I have a few friends who have it (stationary bike, other gadgets) and it has a pretty advanced ecosystem to participate in live "workout classes" (from home) with a live instructor, competitions against others working out at home, etc. It's pricey, but certainly a significant way many will workout in the future.

Yeah you recreate a spinning class at home. But there’s a social aspect. The instructor can call out to people etc.
It probably helps people not blow it off that would otherwise blow it off.
But it’s not my thing.

Peloton gear is ridiculously over-priced. You can get a decent quality electro-magnetic exercise bike for a fraction of the price they charge.
Also, the serious cyclists I know don't go anywhere near it - they use Wahoo for the hardware and Zwift for the software.
