I guess it's also laughable that the withdrawal from Afghanistan wouldn't have happened under Trump, except Trump ordered the withdrawal 4 days after his election loss, only delayed because of Milley's forethought but ultimately Biden executing the Trump plan.
I've heard Trump talk about this, and he said that he was going to withdraw from Afghanistan, just not so incompetently as Biden did.
Based on how careful Trump has been with everything so far (agency closures, tariffs) I'd imagine his delicate approach would've been applied to Afghanistan, too.
Ok, I call BS.
Nobody, and I mean nobody, could have screwed that up as bad as The Resident.

I don't disagree, but my confidence on how Trump would've withdrawn has changed substantially based on his track record these last 2 months of break things fast, fix later.

BTW this is the Chris Krebs that Trump is asking his government to investigate to "find something on him".
Short clip, then longer clip if interested. (Both are from like 1 year or more ago)
Of relevance, Krebs and CISA kept an eye on the "rumorville" aspect that could undercut elections (aka fake news) as well as briefed folks on how the election fraud and machine issue claims were unfounded after long and professional reviews. Trump just didn't like the conclusions, I guess.

At least you can admit the hypocrisy.
And you know there are people out there who said it was wrong if Biden did it and it was wrong if Trump did it.
Not sure what the American public cares about, probably the economy most. As much as I care about news stories, which admittedly is not as much as it might seem with my posts here, I do care that there is such a blatant liar and hypocrite in the office. Horrible example for kids, and at this point I can't trust a single thing that comes out of his mouth, which is dangerous. He could tell me Tehran just bombed Timbuktu and I'd have to wait for it to be verified by people who aren't constantly making shit up.

If only hypocrisy could be considered a crime. Not sure I'd make it a felony, but it is a thing that makes my blood boil more than about anything else. First of all, it is knowingly lying to others, usually accusing these others of some act of moral depravity while they've been doing the same for a long time or maybe even wish they could do exactly that thing and if ever given a chance would not think twice about what they were preaching.
"do as i say, not as i do".
But when used in the world of politics, it only muddies the waters to millions of voters who do not see clearly due to their partisan blinders they wear throughout their lives. And these voters will run with these statements of projection made by there political leaders and walk through life with a chip on their shoulder for the other side.
We need a new court system, that deals only with it. The Court of Hypocrisy. Depending on the severity and effect that this libel can bring to the masses, can produce a range of monetary fines, that would be based on one's wealth and the effect it causes.
Who's with me? I'm making picket signs, should I draw them in Red or Blue? I know what color I want to use.
