Yeah sure. She should close the ejection port. If no rounds in the chamber, why have a mag inserted? But there probably is a chambered round since the dust cover is open. Oh rule numero uno... never ever point the muzzle towards a friendly, which she absolutely is doing right there.

Oh and how can you tell the safety is on? On most M4 carbines it's on the other side of the gun (where her thumb is).

    Here's a clearer video btw.

He noticed the gun pointed at his face and backs up a bit.

Why would he do that when she's clearly got the safety on, her finger isn't even in the guard and she's demonstrated in the past that she's a really good shot?

          I was only joking

            https://www.cnn.com/2025/04/21/politics/homeland-security-kristi-noem-purse-stolen/index.html

Department of Homeland Security Secretary Kristi Noem fell victim to a thief while eating dinner at a downtown Washington, DC, restaurant Sunday night, the secretary confirmed Monday.

Noem, who was asked about the theft at the White House Easter Egg Roll, acknowledged the incident and said the matter has not been resolved.

The Secret Service, which provides security for Noem, reviewed security camera footage at the Capital Burger restaurant and saw an unknown white male wearing a medical mask steal her bag and leave the restaurant, a law enforcement source said.

The thief got away with Noem’s driver’s license, medication, apartment keys, passport, DHS access badge, makeup bag, blank checks, and about $3,000 in cash.

Wonder why she was carrying so much cash? Kind of unusual in today's world, especially someone like her in her position.

              Seems very MS-13 like.

Seriously though she’s fucking Corey Lewendowsky and they’re both married to other people so it might be useful to have money not traceable by the spouse.

                Still seems suspicious.

Also, how in heck did the guy manage to steal the bag when she's presumably surrounded by security guards?

'Department of Homeland Security' - you can't make this stuff up.

Fucking clown show. The lot of them. It would be funny if they didn’t wield actual power.

After the photo op did she take him out of town to a gravel quarry and shoot him?

                        Elbows up!
