While there are going to be struggles, the tide of public opinion has very much turned against this particular idiocy and it’s no longer the fashionable position that it once was. It’s going to be very interesting to watch some of these celebrities like Ms. Watson try to walk back their positions and stances.

It was not obvious which side she'd take on that issue. But I suspect she is focused on crazy western supporters of Palestine rather than the conflict itself.

It got way too mainstream for progressive heads to be so far up progressive asses, that they assumed they could virtue-shame everybody into accepting anything. Interesting to see the trans thing was the turning point. Reasonable case to be made that it was a necessary if not sufficient part of the platform that got Trump elected. Well done, progressives. You led with your hearts, and your hearts led you right into fascism. Oh, the irony. Whatever will the world do now.
