Maybe just use this thread for all your more vacuous dunks from the dregs of your twitter feed, so the rest of us can skip efficiently.

What’s shown in the opening post does not appear to be from a Twitter feed, but rather a screenshot from the SPIEGEL’s mobile app.

If Elon hadn't fired all his best programmers, they'd have the ability on X to post pictures, such as, say, screenshots from SPIEGEL's mobile app. But alas. He fired the guy (or girl) who knew how to code that.

I read that Spiegel story yesterday and it's a good reminder of the vulnerabilities of cell phones, even those in high ranks of leadership. Yes it is 100% possible for a foreign adversary to gain remote access to your phone. Not through some sort of dramatic "walk by them and remotely connect into the phone with an antennae out of your hat" but as the article points out, if they are able to get into your other personal accounts, that can lead to backdoors into your phone... So in theory, although not likely, Marco Rubio's phone, or Hegseth's, or Goldbergs, or Waltz's... could've been (and today could still be...) monitored by adversaries and seen the exact classified attack plans hours before they were executed. That is the WHOLE REASON why you're not supposed to use your cell phone for classified discussions. There is a reason each of the principals has a SCIF built in the basement of their house or even car, for some.

And to be fair, I'd imagine in 2021 if they did the search, they'd find personal credentials for Biden administration officials too.

Dude, it's the only issue they really have with any public resonation at all. And besides the media and the beltway crowd, the American public doesn't give a rolling red rat's ass about the story. No American or ally was injured, the bad guys got to visit with Satan and it's not like this was a clusterfuck as in the Afghanistan withdrawal.

It does have a bright spot. While all the opposition is focused on this, maybe Trump can get other stuff done.

I think the main reason this is a big issue is because of the emails. Remind me what the result of that was again?

Not really. Just tonight I was out with my kids walking around the block and my neighbor was asking me a question about whether the federal cuts is impacting my work, and then made a random current events comment about how the signal snafu is complete amateur hour and embarrassing. He's not a lib, he's a normal working dude who can't believe the group chat folks don't just say this was a mistake and move on, instead he said they all look like a bunch of amateur hypocrites after all they said about Hillary.

Depends on where he gets his news. Trump said Tuesday it was a mistake.

Of course, you don't get much of that on a lot of the news outlets. They're hammering the story, because they think it's a big deal. They need an issue to go after Trump, even if by whacking on his staff.

I wonder...Did y'all talk about all the arrests in Northern Virginia by ICE? Or the 300+ arrests in Philadelphia, even after the mayor reiterated it was a Sanctuary City? Converse about the public statement Trump made about male DNA this week,? Talk about the Indian tariffs? Talk about the latest lawfare against Trump's EO's?

Lots going on, while the media has people chasing a shiny object.

Conspicuously missing from that list is the road to autarky.

We actually don't talk politics... mostly landscaping topics or home improvement ideas... I just thought it was funny that you said average americans don't giving a rolling rat's ass about the story, when that isn't true. Trump said it was a mistake, ok good start... now he can either be a hypocrite and not do anything or he can start a "LOCK HIM UP" chant at his rallies.

I talked to my neighbor earlier tonight.

                                Me: hey
                                Him: hey
                                Me: what’s up
Him: you are very good looking
                                Me: I know. No homo
                                Him: no homo
Me: how about that signal thing
                                Him: don’t care
                                Me: ok
Him: we are having a normal conversation, fit for relaying online to provide evidence for a viewpoint
                                Me: I agree.
