Over/under on his resignation? I'd say in the next 48 hours. This is what he said about a half hour ago: https://www.reddit.com/r/PublicFreakout/comments/1jjrldl/mike_waltz_lies_about_how_hes_never_met_dont_know/
Sure seems nervous as he lies about "not knowing or ever talking with (goldberg)" but luckily he gains confidence as he resumes kissing Trump's ass. What a weird time, it feels like his supporters are scared as they talk about Trump in public, knowing they could be killed off with any tweet.

Senator Kelly schools the maga n00bs. He was a naval officer for 25 years before becoming an astronaut.
Ratcliff's answer also provides more insight into their odd "nothing was classified in that thread" argument. Hegseth is the "original classifying authority (within DOD)" so he decides what is classified or not. Reminds me of Trump's argument when taking top secret materials to Florida... when he said "if I even thought the document is declassified, then it it so". Amateur hour!

Cool, let Goldberg publish it all then.

Best comment ever: I wonder what Mike Walz will put in his Five Things I Accomplished This Week email?

As I am still a member of a FB Federal Employees group that has lit up like a wildfire since the Fork in the Road, you may find it quite amusing that the employees are still required to send their weekly 5 accomplishments to OPM. What is amusing is that they are now getting those emails kicked back due to HQ@OPM.GOV mailbox being full. No one is reading them anymore or if at all ever. They need to hire a better AI I guess!

Or an AI that knows how to delete.

By the way did the Senate really convene a hearing this quickly? Or was this already planned by some coincidence?
I guess you have me blocked, but I answered that already.

Never fear, I am confident there is only one poster here who probably employs that tactic to evade being called out or held to account. I can also say with reasonable certainty that jon is not that poster and you are not the targeted blockee.

So let's get this straight. Signal is so secure that the gov preloaded it on phones and it was okay to use for conversations about time/weapons/location of an attack, but a journalist was somehow able to hack it?

I love the way they're attacking the journalist who as far as I can tall hasn't done anything wrong at all. "This loser" - very grown up.
It's also fairly obvious who the loser is here.

He’s easily been the most honest and patriotic of the bunch.
The only one who has shown any honor and it’s obvious.

Arrogance and incompetence is never a good mix.

If only there had been some way to predict that hiring all these inexperienced people could lead to amateur-hour own goals.

It's a little disappointing that those Hitler meltdown parodies have gone out of fashion. I'm sure the Fuhrer would have quite a bit to say about this situation.
