The inscription on the Statue of Liberty's pedestal should be changed to "Admission: $5 Million."

Maybe make it a flat screen display, just in case we want to change the price according to inflation or run special promotions from time to time.

Indeed, imagine a country where only very rich immigrants get in, and the native citizens get many jobs, like pick fruits, lay bricks, clean houses, and mow lawns for the very rich immigrants.

Is there any country on this earth that does not prefer wealthy immigrants to poor ones?

Wealthy immigrants should each be accompanied by a few poor people so the democrats can have someone to vote for them.

And the wealthy people could also use the poor people to do the jobs that ax doesn't want.

Yes there is. Two guys can rake in $100 an hour each.

Probably not, maybe the inscription on the pedestal of the Statue of Liberty is just for show.

In any event, we should probably start thinking about offering "Titanium Cards" ($10 Million a pop?), "Diamond Cards" ($20 Million a pop?), "Special Edition Deca-Titanium Cards" ($100 Million a pop?), the "Ultra Luxury Platinum Cards" ($1 Billion a pop?), the "Ultimate Adamantium Cards" ($10 Billion a pop?), the "Unlimited Supreme Vibranium Cards" ($100 Billion a pop?), etc. Each card may get a Presidential Autopen Signature add-on for a 50% surcharge on top of the base price, or an Original Presidential Handdrawn Signature add-on for a 200% surcharge on top of the base price.

See, I knew putting a flat screen display at the pedestal of the Statue of Liberty is a great idea -- now it can display the whole menu of options and add-ons.

When did the law get passed in implemented? Real question?

Also, why buy a gold visa when you can get US permanent residency through an EB5? an eb5 lets you invest 800k dollars into a business in exchange for a green card.

Why would someone chose a gold visa over that?

Simply wiring $5 million into a designated government account vs. setting up a business and adhering to follow-up reporting requirements -- which one is easier, simpler, faster, more predictable?

I believe the burden of legal justification would be on those who would claim it is illegal. There is no current law on the books stating "whatever Trump does is illegal", though my god-empress AOC is currently drafting such legislation.

Sure, but you get to keep your money with one and give it away in the other.

I'm pretty sure if you can afford the $5M without sweating it you'd be a pretty welcome immigrant.

I’m asking from the immigrant’s perspective.

That was my question. There was already a process to get a permanent resident that also included creating jobs.

The new gold car does not mean there will be any jobs created. No need to do so.
