    There is a rise in SWATing incidents. I think the perps should be charged with attempted murder. Perhaps somebody agrees with me...

        Definitely need to increase the penalty. Not sure if attempted murder fits, but something that would be jail time.

          It's not attempted murder per se, but some sort of reckless disregard for life sort of charge, then felony murder if someone actually does get killed.

          Education is extremely important.

            Yeah making up a story to trigger an assault on a property where people end up dying should certainly have a stiff punishment.

                  Indeed it does. For example in Minnesoooooooota it's a misdemeanor but they're trying to pass a law to make it a felony.
