I've been developing an appreciation for diving and track&field. The youtube algorithm understands me very well, and allows me to pursue this hobby effortlessly. What are your favorite spectator sports?

Speed massage.
Chess.
I'm embarrassed to say I do actually watch blitz and rapid Chess streaming on Youtube. Well, when I say embarrassed, my family are very embarrassed by it.

As a kid, I was always in awe when I'd walk from the hallway into the open air seats of a baseball stadium (400 level, the cheap seats) with the beautiful field below.
But in terms of watching sports live, I found hockey to be the most electric atmosphere.
On the flip side, as much as I love golf, watching it in person is really horrible. I still go if I can. But you usually have to go to one spot on the course (one hole) and watch pairings come through instead of being able to follow your favorite player. You have mostly no idea what the rest of the field is doing, let alone being able to see it, although it's fun to hear the roar of a distant crowd when someone holes a long putt. BTW my trick is to carry a collapsible stool with so I can stand behind the crowd but then elevate myself up 8" to see over everyone.

Amazing physical skills there. Also reminds me of two rams fighting on a mountain hill.

Gotta youtube "how to play cricket" today... I am so ignorant, but should probably learn. There is a growing indian population near us and the city just built a beautiful new multi-use field, but in general it's a new cricket pitch.

I’d rather lay in a warm bath and open up a vein.

Yes. Can you imagine how insufferable I’d be as a cricket fan?
