Maybe the Crown prince will promise to govern as a constitutional monarch as opposed to an autocrat like his father.
…. I’m just not convinced that the Iranian rabble primarily in rural areas is ready to cast off its religious superstitions and the accompanying fanaticism that that belief system breeds.

Meanwhile, Mamdani is compassionately reaching out to Iranian immigrants and reassuring them that we don't really hate them. Because politicians have to live in their chosen narratives, no matter how divorced from reality they are.

It's interesting to think how long he's been in power. I think Iran has had 4 leaders in 100+ years. I don't know of another country with that track record.

Direct hit on a shelter in a town called Beit Shemesh not far from Jerusalem. So far 8 dead.
Worst event for us so far.

He always looked like a nice guy. Seeing him reminds me of the Bush-Iran days of about 20 years ago.
Total side note, I know Khamenei is dead but that dude was 86…we could’ve just waited a few years and he would’ve been taken out by Father Time, too.
