    There’s always a Trump tweet.

The real problem with modern day wars is they are like boxing matches where only jabs are allowed. And that even includes Gaza, despite the destruction and loss of life.
Pussyfooting about instead of demanding and ensuring unconditional surrender by every means.

We've had nearly 50 years of this internationally murderous Iranian regime and can only look forward to it continuing.
Any funds released to it will certainly end up in the hands of Hamas, Hezbollah and the Houthis.

I'm going to buy an electric car.
Over the last few decades the whole professional British military has been reduced to the point where can now fit inside a football stadium!

Meanwhile on a positive note, Ukraine are doing well against Russia, and Putin will be dead within a decade.
And China will soon be coming to terms with its young population crisis. So hopefully both countries will be less helpful towards Iran and N.Korea

I assume by ‘final deal’ they mean the one supposedly coming in 60 days.

Arguably the best bit about Trump inevitably becoming a lame duck will be his own side finally being able to tell him to shove it up his arse. Assuming they can pluck up the courage, of course.

              I was only joking

Trump's hold over the GOP comes not from the Presidency but from captivating a large swath of the GOP base voters. The "presidential lame duck" concept will not apply to Trump, at least not for Republicans.

Which is a little ironic when you consider his resemblance to that most famous of ducks, Teh Donald Duck.

                    And now for the caveats:

Iran's top diplomat said Tuesday that the tentative deal to end the war with the United States would require Israel to withdraw from Lebanon — a condition Israel has already rejected and that could sink the agreement, leading to the resumption of all-out war.

Yeah. The question is does Trump cave or Iran?

Bibi’s current government wouldn’t survive him agreeing. And I don’t think he would anyway under any circumstances.

It may be the case that the most likely outcome is just a stalemate under the MOU terms - the concrete ones not the aspirational ones. After all, Gaza is stuck on step 1.5 out of 20 and I don't think anyone believes it moves on from there.
