Also, this would mean a pivot away from China--

Yeah, China seems to keep getting lucky in that manner. After the Cold War ended, for a while it looks like the USA will focus on China. Then 9/11 happened.

        lol

They’ll end up, after a lot of drama, with the same formula they use every time they have a trifecta: take away health care and food assistance from low income families and use the money to fund tax cuts for their donors.

Trump allegedly halted a plan by Israel to kill the Iran leader. Odd to see this reported as fact in the first paragraph, then in the third paragraph the denials by relevant parties are noted. If this is true, I would think that the leak itself is a big story. But I don't trust it much.

I thought this an interesting op-ed. I thought Bush II should have done it in 2006.

Israel isn't by itself going to completely knock out Iran's nuclear program. The USA could, not Israel. It may set it back a couple of years but Iran will be back somewhat more strategically located.

What's going on is regnum change.

And if I were Netanyahu I wouldn't trust Trump any more than Zelensky should. Trump cares about money and China is all about money. Just saying.

True, it's the pig and chicken teaming up to make a bacon and egg breakfast. Israel (please excuse the analogy) is the pig and the rest of the countries in the middle east are the chickens. Israel is committed to ending a nuclear Iran because sooner or later Iran is going to nuke Israel. The other countries in the region are just involved.

It's gotta be ended. A regium change is the best way--but all out destruction of Iran with the US helping has to be on the table.

He did basically nail it, though Israel is getting public not just private support from the major European countries.
