He understands that no matter what--his policies are going to be presented as disastrous for the country/world. So, get as much done as quickly as possible...let the reporting on it play out..and hopefully by mid-terms there will have been some time for the actual policies to have there effect, and people can vote based on their perception of the results, not just the reporting.

Slight chance I'm being optimistic here, but it's the best I got.

I agree with that but in my mind that’s me being optimistic.

Still too much Musk out front. If they'd just learn to do things a bit more quietly with an air of deliberation it would go much smoother.

I don't know much about CFPB except that it's Warren's creation, which automatically makes it suspect. But the vitriol with which it's being attacked looks bad. It looks like a sop to large donors.

I understand cutting waste, fraud and spending will not be painless, but the impression is it could use a bit more empathy. I'm sure some of that is how it is being reported plus the many individual sob stories being posted, but it's a real concern they need to be aware of and address to be successful.

Some transparency would be helpful. At this point no one knows what to expect and everyone is on edge.

I was never a huge fan of CFPB and the way Warren set it up is key to why I could never trust her. I was surprised its funding method passed scotus review.

Meh, tear it down. Tear it all down. Then rebuild it.

The largest job growth over the last few years? Federal Government. Highest median wages? Federal Government. Best benefits and job security (before November)? Federal Government.
