I could probably be swayed to a 2-3% tariff across the board, with some careful carrots for manufactured goods that cross the borders multiple times before the finished product. I could probably be swayed into punitive tariffs against bad actors. But this is just stupid.

Sorry, I don't mean this sarcastically, what does he mean "they could go up". It is very basic COGS math. The price will go up, unless you find a company that is so patriotic that they'll decide to make less profit.
