In what universe do two 60 year old guys that look like this

    alt text

get animated on their show to look like this

    alt text

It wouldn’t be bad except the episodes start and end with the Kratt brothers in real life…Finley just asked who the old guys are…

Wow, they're still going! Me and the lad used to watch Zoboomafoo with those two back in about 2002. They looked quite a bit more like the cartoon back then.

Yes, but again, it’s 20 years later… Either skip the live intro and exit from the show, or have them just narrate over video of the animals. Or make the animation versions slightly more mature. It really is quite distracting.

It could be a lot worse. They could try and look young with loads of makeup and hair dye.

My 4 year old loves the show. It is mind blowing how much information he retains. Just yesterday he was asking me if I knew that an octopus has 3 hearts and 9 brains, and that a sperm whale can eat a colossus squid, and that there is oxygen in the water but only fish can breath it through their gills.

Our kids also love the show "number blocks" which is a mind melting repetition if squares doing addition over and over in a fun animated way. They are learning math(s) so quickly, at least.

And these quasi-educational shows are SO MUCH BETTER than the hyper-edited crap on youtube.
