Trump comments on CA high speed rail

Trump isn't wrong, but mother eff, is it possible for him to not lie? "Hundreds of billions of dollars over budget". Yes it's like 95 billion over budget... that is not 200+ billion.
His stock would go so far up in my book if he just cut out the lies during statements. Such an easy bar to meet! I guess it's his style though.

hmmm,
On Wednesday, Trump, while speaking with reporters, praised Tuberville for coaching Mahomes.
"A great coach,” Trump said of Tuberville, as transcribed via AL.com.
“You know, his quarterback was named Mahomes. He was a great college coach. And I said, ‘How good was he?’ He said, ‘You don’t wanna know how good. He made me into a great coach.’ He’s a pretty good quarterback, right? Yeah, he was very good. And he’s a good guy, too.”
Tuberville on Thursday doubled down on the claim, saying he recruited Mahomes to Texas Tech.
Oops.
Mahomes cleared the air on his connectionTuberville during Super Bowl 59 media availability.
“He did not recruit me at the time," Mahomes told reporters. "I don't remember if I ever got to meet him or not.”
Tuberville was a college coach from 1995-2016 at Ole Miss, Auburn, Texas Tech and Cincinnati, before getting elected to the U.S. Senate in Alabama in 2020. But Trump's claims about the senator coaching Mahomes is inaccurate. Tuberville did not coach Patrick Mahomes.
While it is true that Tuberville was Texas Tech's head coach from 2010-2012, Mahomes didn't arrive in Lubbock until 2014 and played under Kliff Kingsbury.
