See, that's the problem. These people are almost all solely members of the Dem party. Many of them are leaders in their movement and also active in the Dem party.

To admit they royally screwed up their children's lives is impossible for them. It's admitting a huge mistake with livelong consequences for their children.

So they simply have to keep living the lie. And they have to live that lie within the Dem party.

I'm probably wrong or oversimplifying this, but sometimes I feel like the LGBT (especially the trans) movement feeds more on their hate for the right/conservative even more than their love of tolerance. It's almost like they think... the MORE tolerant we can be (as demonstrated by the weirder shit they accept as normal), the more we prove how old and out of touch republicans are. But, it is backfiring.

Democrats efinitely the wrong side. They made it an issue. Republics made it a bigger one, which helped their favor.
