So apparently the 1.3B program had already been announced in December. So the concession was appointing a âfentanyl czarâ.
Looks like Trump was looking for an off ramp.
Closer to $1.9 billion when you add in the affected provinces contributing to their own resources to shore up the border areas.
But youâre right that it had already been offered and agreed upon back in December. Part of the reason why the grandstanding and brinkmanship was so incoherent to us.
Normally we donât do âczarsâ here. But if it serves as a soother in the petulant little bastardâs mouth then fine.
If thatâs what will make him happy, he can go ahead and suck on it for as long as necessary to get him to shut his bleeding cake hole for awhile.

I like winning.
Conservatives have already won a lot, since Trump took office. It seems like the pace is not slowing down. I'm sure there will be missteps, maybe even a big error or two, but it's nice to see the country heading in the right direction.
Congress needs to do its part. EO 's are often just temporary fixes to permanent problems. I want to see a budget. One that's leaner and harkens back to pre-COVID spending. I want to see Hegseth produce a satisfactory audit out of the DOD and better use of our defense dollars. I want to see reform in Medicare and Medicaid. I want to see some ethics reform in Congress. I want to see banking reform.
Oh, there's lots of things I'm hoping for, but right now I'll be content with some more winning.
