I shouldn't worry about it too much. The debt is currently increasing by 6 billion a day, so this is about 6 hours worth spread out over 11 years.

That’s like saying my mortgage interest is $20K per year so I shouldn’t worry about that $200 I just lost.

Boy, when the Sierra Club is dissing your solar plant you’re in trouble. But as far as irreplaceable desert habitat, GMAFB. I’ve been through the Mojave many times. There’s no there there and five square miles is nothing.
