    Tariffs on foreign made movies?

I haven’t seen that. Foreign made movies usually end up in art house theaters where hundreds of people see them. Man we’ll be raking in the bucks.

BBC reports 100% tariffs on foreign made movies- as per National Security concerns.

USA, you have a big problem.

God help us if another Studio Ghibli hit sweeps the nation. To say nothing about the next Wallace and Gromit feature film.

Again, as a husband of someone who loves to buy yet another toy or box of crayons when we have more than a surplus already... I very much welcome Trump's perspective on over consumption and border line hoarding. That being said, clearing out clutter isn't exactly my recommendation for economic policy.

This is so obvious. What are the magats thinking.

WSJ: “If other countries imposed reciprocal tariffs, it could devastate Hollywood studios…The U.S. movie industry had a $15.3 billion trade surplus in 2023 and generated a positive balance of trade with every major foreign market.

As Trump said in the interview yesterday (seriously) when asked if he takes responsibility for the economy, "The bad parts are Biden's economy, the good parts are Trump's economy." Not a surprise, but wow.

Fjord Motors? Sounds European. I only care about American car companies.

There's a man who pronounces the 't' in Chevrolet, so that it rhymes with toilet.

You know, if all of these other places would just become a part of the US, there wouldn’t be any more tariffs. Problem solved.
