I haven't denounced him for this action and neither have any of the rank and file Republicans in my neighborhood. I'm sure if one searches hard enough, you will find Republican's views pretty scattered on the action.

Agreed.
There's a relatively clear line between leading the charge, assaulting officers, breaking and entering, stealing, and conspiracy to stop the election.... and those who were there for the protest and followed the mob through already-opened doors...aka trespassing or unauthorized entry. The latter shouldn't have been charged in the first place, and pardons would make sense there. But not for the clear criminals.
