Not going to be much better here. We've had snow on the ground for over two weeks now. That almost never happens anymore.

They're saying maybe 3 inches of snow for us. I hope not, for we do not cope well.

I have an 8:00 tee time every day this week.

The temperature will be below 20 degrees most days at 8:00.

It will be a long week.

My outdoor runs are more interesting when it gets to the -5 and below.

Ya'll have a heat wave. It feels like -17 out now... should be close to -30 tomorrow and Tuesday. I think the schools might do a delayed start if it's colder than -35. (They do send kids out for recess unless it's colder than -10, though).

I showed my kids what happens if I throw hot water in the air outside. They loved how it burst into a puff of vapor.

We're below freezing here for the next few days. Our yearly freeze. I was told, and I'm not sure of the truth of this, that freezes were uncommon before 3 years ago. Now it's every year.

We went to the zoo today. It was a bit weird driving for about a half hour when it was -19 out (felt like -29). The exhaust from cars simply didn't...evaporate much. Each car on the road had a good "trail" of what my kids would call "smoke!" behind each. Almost like the vehicles were emitting their own heat signature the way a warm human body does when it goes out into the cold for the first few minutes.

They canceled school tomorrow, which is an extreme rarity in these parts.

It was about 8 outside with a -5 wind chill when I ran this evening. It wasn't bad. I've run in worse.

Nine below right now (7:15 AM). Might hit 1 above by sunset.

                              Brrr!

It is so true that cold is relative. If it gets down to the 60's in Thailand, people get out their winter jackets!

Low of 7F today and tomorrow. 3-4 with wind chill.

It’ll be mid-next week before we see temperatures north of freezing, if even just for an hour or so in the afternoon.

                                  Only non-witches get due process.

Snow yesterday, 7 degrees on the morning drive today. They still drove like Massholes.

                                    I was only joking

Proud of the little guy, today he had to have walked 2-3 miles in the 10-15 degree temps. Of course, it was broken up every half mile with a stop at the Lego store, then FAO Schwarz, then the M&M’s store, then Hershey’s…
