Not just restaurants. The Biden Economy has been very hard on small business. I heard a woman interviewed this morning about her small business in Massachusetts... She's been in business 35 years and the last two or three years have been a huge struggle for the same reasons outlined in Mik's article - higher labor costs, higher insurance costs, exorbitant vehicle costs and a certain price-point where the customer base just digs its heels in.

Yes. I have told my favorites to raise prices as necessary but keep the quality. That's what I go for. I'll get used to the price. I don't know if most people will follow that path, but I hope so.
We are fortunate that we're able to roll with the higher prices so far, but this idea that every job should be one that could raise a family is just insane. And that's just one factor.

Every time you hire an unqualified DEI, you still have to hire someone to do the work.
Because the DIE isn't going to do it.
