The Hegseth "Strategy"

Thought this was interesting...

When discussing how to approach the Confirmation Hearings for Trump's appointees, one question that came up was. "Who do we schedule first?". After hearing suggestions, Trump made that decision. He firmly believed Hegseth should go first.

It appears he may have been right. We'll know when the votes are tallied.

A couple of questions arise... Why put Hegseth first? Was Trump right in doing so?

Haven’t really followed the hearings but I could see the idea that if he puts a more controversial nominee forward first (and also gets through) it’ll reset the bar to be lower for almost all his other nominees. Trump is very good at marketing strategy.
