A short clip from The Nanny. I think Fran was a little underrated as a physical comedienne...The show lasted six years and enjoyed decent ratings.

I watched this occasionally in Spanish in the late 90s in Mexico, as my girlfriend liked it. It was dubbed, and she had some strong regional Mexican accent and he had a Spanish (as in from Spain) upper-class accent.

        No Brooklyn-Mexican accent? 😄

I suspect Fran's second accent in the clip is closer to her real voice.

For better or worse, a live audience laughing is something that is hard to beat in a sitcom.
