Bone conduction headphones ... any recommendation?

However, he just used them for audiobooks.

My hearing aids can stream via bluetooth - but the fidelity is not as good as a set of "real" phones for music. Fine for books, however.

I've used Aftershokz for about 5 years, I got them so I could hear traffic while walking the dog. I find they're fine for listening to speech. I don't think same type I have are available now, I spent roughly $100 on them if memory serves.

Yes, I've been using them for years. I'm tough on them as I wear then pretty much all day. I use the Open Run version from Aftershokz for audiobooks and podcasts. They're ok for music if you're not too demanding - but I don't do much music listening through them. I have tried the cheapie version from a company called Miniso that I got from Temu or some such service - less than $20. The sound isn't quite as good but still quite passable - and they use an inferior connection - but at less than $20 - not a bad choice. Actually, I bought a pair from another company for around $10 that wasn't bad. OTH - Afterschokz is having a sale through the end of the year and $99. Aftershokz is good with a 2 year warranty - and given the brutality of my use - i've actually twice gotten new headphones from them after something messed up - again, I'm rough on these things. I'm gentle - or try to be with my high-end, wired headphones at home. Whatever you do, it's a transformative experience - don't have to worry about things falling off - and hands free calls are easy - no complaints from people when i'm speaking to them using the Aftershokz.

Thanks. I placed an order for an "Aftershokz OpenMove."

Why "Aftershokz OpenMove" rather than "Aftersokz OpenRun"? Because

1. The "OpenMove" charges with a USB-C charging port while the "OpenRun" uses a proprietary charging port. I would rather not add yet another type of charging cable that I need to keep track of.
2. I'm cheap. I could have gone with the "OpenRun Pro 2" to get USB-C charging but that would cost 180 USD.

If one uses those headphones as assiduously as I do, the proprietary charging system is better. The C charging port is more subject to failure .I have used both types over the years. You’ll likely be fine with the C charger.
