    Why does he refer to himself in the 3rd person, including his employment title and his middle initial, are there other Donald Trumps out there we need to not be confused about?

    That's what people whose identity is tied up in being famous often do. It means they read a lot of press about themselves, and begin to adopt the language of the people who write and talk about them.

    @Horace

    Possibly, although more often than not it’s an attention getting device employed by people, usually males, who are incorrigibly full of themselves.

      The fact that they’re full of themselves is a given in any case. The most famous example of the third person self reference was Deion Sanders. He may have all but invented the practice.

      Education is extremely important.

        No idea who Sanders was/is so I looked him up on Wiki.

        Yeah, he would for sure fit the profile.

          Texas banned race and gender discussions in universities now a philosophy professor is being told to drop a Plato reading from his course or be reassigned.

          The whole reason we call them illegal aliens is because they’re subject to our laws.

            bureaucracies are what they are, and this may be as stupid as it seems. But the implication of a blanket ban on mentioning or teaching Plato in philosophy courses throughout TX universities is surely an exaggeration.

              Plato is one of the greatest trolls of human history. He invented the myth of Atlantis.

                Trump suing pollsters again.

                  You know, it makes sense why Trump went to such lengths to lie about losing the 2020 election. This is a man who you could argue cares about nothing in the world other than people liking him (usually via ratings or crowdsize). I'd imagine there's a childhood trauma behind it... like Rosebud, except instead of a (spoiler alert) sled it's his parents not liking him. Anyway... so then throw in the mother of all popularity/rating contests (a national election) and when he loses in a landslide, it's unfathomable to him.

                    It's ironic is that somebody who lies with such gay abandon is so wound up by perceived inaccuracies in others.

                    Apparently, he just came out and said NATO troops avoided the front line in Afghanistan. The same guy who dodged the draft himself. What a prick.

                      Disgraceful. As posted in the other thread, Blair should immediately resign from Trump’s peace scam.
