    My God..

    https://abc7chicago.com/post/family-rottweiler-dogs-attack-kill-5-year-old-girl-back-yard-home-covina-california-los-angeles-county/15630391/

A 5-year-old girl is dead after she was attacked by her family dogs at her home in California on Sunday, authorities say.

Los Angeles County Sheriff's deputies were called to a home in a gated community in the 2500 block of Palomino Drive in Covina around noon on Sunday.

They discovered that a 5-year-old girl had been attacked by the two family dogs in the backyard of the home.

Los Angeles County Fire paramedics brought the girl to a local hospital, where she was pronounced dead at 1:23 p.m.

Investigators say the dogs responsible for the attack are a 10-year-old Rottweiler and a 6-year-old Rottweiler mix. Two other dogs live at the home - and all four pets were removed.

Investigators say the girl had lived with the dogs in the home all of her life with no prior reported incidents.

One other family members had minor injuries.

No foul play is suspected but the incident remains under investigation.

The saying, "Lite is just one damn thing after another," is a gross understatement. The damn things overlap.

A very good example of why we should not consume endless news, George! We are not meant to absorb worldwide (bad) news 24/7 that have zero impact on our life. Although I guess it does serve as a reminder not to live with the 2nd deadliest dog breed.

Rick Zimmer told the story about his dog growling at their baby then taking a sudden leap towards it. IIRC his wife exercised extreme reflexes and strength and caught the dog by the collar, saving the baby’s life.

They put the dog in the garage overnight and had it sent to the pound the next day.

        Only non-witches get due process.
