Paywall. Anyway, comparing presidential economies has always been a bit weird to me. I feel like there's a good 18-36 month lag on policies and seeing how that impacts the economy. And of course the pandemic job loss and later job gain... it's all a bit murky. I wonder if the charts do a good job filtering through all that for better information.
What I would love to see are charts showing how each President over the years has helped or hurt our national debt, the social security solvency, and medicare. Those 3 financial animals need to be a priority (aside from national defense) for the country until we're in better fiscal shape.

Exactly!!! The economy and the president dont start exactly when election day (or inaguration day) and ends at the end of the term.
