Right on! The APA style guide isn't going far enough, though. It is always, universally wrong to drop the leading zero. No exceptions.

Wars have been fought about this issue, and rightly so! I for one wouldn't want to be friend with anyone who drops leading zeros.

There are good, fine digits on both sides of that point.

        Education is extremely important.

          They're not, they're zeroes. Sad!

          Please love yourself.

            The zero adds nothing.

"Less Than Zero" is one of the least specific book titles ever.

              Education is extremely important.

it looks wrong ,like a misspelling. A strain on the eyes.

As I said in the JMU thread, keep them on campus. They mostly weather the virus pretty well and it's a huge trial for herd immunity. Plus, if you let them leave, you send infective agents everywhere...

@Jolly I think that makes sense. As you say, it is a good way to control the students and also monitor them.

Not sure about the ethics of making the professors, administrators, janitorial and cafeteria staff part of the experiment.

                            Only non-witches get due process.

Teaching is now a high-risk profession.
