Regarding the FBI Background checks, Article II takes priority and precedence. The FBI background checks were a legal nicety observed at a time when the FBI carried a level of trust in the public eye that they no longer enjoy. That’s an easy obstacle for the new administration.

Trump's political run has been very educational to the public about government and how it runs. That education will be on steroids through the next four years.

He’s not skipping FBI checks for Tulsi et al because they won’t do a good job. He’s skipping it because they will.

That’s your opinion. Great. However, we have seen so many abject failures, lies, and conspiracies perpetrated by the FBI that the general public will not truly believe anything they find. The trust in the Bureau is lost. And it will be quite some time for them to regain it and regain relevancy.

That’s your opinion. Great. However, we have seen so many abject failures, lies, and conspiracies perpetrated by the FBI that the general public will not truly believe anything they find. The trust in the Bureau is lost. And it will be quite some time for them to regain it and regain relevancy.
