The job stops. The maintenance doesn’t. George has the right idea. Our manta is con-DO, con-DO….

In the midst of purging the garage in hopes of getting two cars in this winter. The Magic 8 Ball says unlikely.

Sounds like a great day George. I’ve always been a fan of naps, although they are rare these days. I remember distinctly during my college years taking some great naps by an open window in the spring.

Jolly, now imagine all of that but also with a winter countdown clock! Kidding, your work ethic and breadth of knowledge is legendary.

I’m 42 now, I plan to retire at 57. Maybe earlier if the market does above average.

Oh my wife said I’d get bored retiring early. Zero chance… aside from naps, I have so many books I want to read, shows and movies to watch. I want to travel, play golf, swim. If I got really bored I’d volunteer as an umpire or something for youth sports.

My work ethic sucks. I do know some people that do know how to work...

One of my wife's uncles died recently (the Marine) and his brother brought the SIL widow a 16 foot trailer load of wood he cut for her.

Junior also raises and sells dressed roast pigs. From now until New Years, that will keep him pretty busy.

Along with his regular 40-hour a week job.

Junior will be 80 on his next birthday ...

The trick is to keep moving, keep busy.

Sounds like a good day. How about adding in some piano playing?

              Education is extremely important.

My winter jab was a half joke. This week we’re expected to shift into single digits. My neighbor is rushing to build a DIY backyard rink, I’ve disconnected my bibs, sump pump, put up driveway stakes, got my ethanol free 91 grade gas, prepped snowblower, moved outdoor cushions, prepped outdoor grill, lawn, winterized mower, clearing air exchange system, etc…….
