Large drip coffee at the cafe inside Whole Foods: 2.89.
Can’t remember how far back you’d need to go to see that price at SBUX.

Surprised. Thought coffee growers had had a bad year.

It is relative to the
dessertsother drinks but still not that cheap. -

That’s a barista made drink. Drip coffee is what I ordered.

Americanos are second-tier pricing, while brewed coffee is the cheapest thing on the menu. I thought I remembered them costing a dollar some years ago.

It’s $2.65 for a 12oz, $2.95 for a 20oz, and $3.25 for a 24oz.
(Which doesn’t make a lot of pricing sense. You go up 8oz for 30 cents, then the next 4oz is 30 cents.)

It’s 12, 16, and 20.

Venti is Italian for 20.
One time I ordered a grande coffee and the woman replied ‘Venti?’ I said ‘No, sedici’. Nobody laughed but me.

When the cashier asked for my name for the order, I told her “Spartacus”. When the barista brought the order up and hollered “Spartacus!” I stepped up and said “I am Spartacus” then another older guy stepped forward and said “I am Spartacus”… Then another guy, and another… Those poor androgynous twentysomethings were so confused.

Still stealing it for FB. It's the funniest thing I've read all week.

It’s actually from a video that went viral a decade ago or so.
George- find the video and post that.
