        Here’s a really cool thing-

        Go close up, so you see all the color grids. Focus your eyes on one person’s shirt. Stay really focused on it.

        Then slowly zoom out, without dropping your focus. Then you’ll see your gray shirt with the color grid, but every other shirt will look like it’s naturally colored. Very cool.

            The visual cortex, in conjunction with higher processes is all about making things make sense. If the color grid is red, the brain, attempting to make it make sense, tells you that everything inside that grid is red. Your brain wants to see patterns, reproducible patterns, not one-of's because it's necessary for survival.
