It’s amazing how creative they get at these big conferences. They’ve long had ads painted on sidewalks between the major hotels and the conference center. Also getting hotels to use pharma-branded plastic for their keys is pretty standard.

But this is new for me. Last night I called an Uber from my hotel and the app itself served this ad:

    Only non-witches get due process.

Medical conferences. Meh. I used to be ok with them. Awed by the big names that I see on publications in New England or whatever. Now I hate them. I go only when I have to. Which means I need to be in Tampa in March. And I’d really rather not.

I now go to 5 big ones a year. Liver and lung in both Europe and US, and a pediatric liver conference in the US.

          Only non-witches get due process.

I used to work 'em, back in the beforetimes. The stuff jon mentioned used to be part of my job.

              Please love yourself.

Part of you must be impressed by the in-app Uber targeting…

                  It is indeed pretty cool.

Messaging could have been better but meh, still cool.

Jon it’s especially cool considering you were heading to Karina’s Cantina where the liver could get a workout! 🥃

I did my liver-ups in the morning, don’t worry. 3 sets of 25. I knew it was going to be a big day.
