We had Tylenol in the travel kit, I took it several times to little/no effect.
Got home and I took two ibuprofen and it’s gone in 15 minutes. Does that mean it’s likely muscular based? Not really getting why anti inflammatory would have such a quick effect.

Docs would know better than me but I get frequent headaches and ibuprofin's all that ever works.

Possible that the muscle was getting inflamed - most headaches are "tension" headaches with no serious pathology.
Acetaminophen has nothing but analgesic properties. However, gotta wonder about relative potencies. A gram of acetaminophen is a pretty good analgesic.
But hey, if it worked....

Ibuprofen works better for me, when it comes to minor pain.
Tylenol works better for the wife.
Go figure...

Naproxen vs Ibuprofen...any preference?
(We used to give ibuprofen IV. Don't know if that's still being done)
